Asia Pacific Sales Director

You will:
• Work with a small team of engineers developing and sustaining real time monitoring software written in highly object oriented C
• Participate in design and implementation of new products and features
• Tune new and existing algorithms for highest possible performance
• Decode and analyze MPEG transport streams

You should have:
• Practical Linux product development experience
• 2-4 years of development experience using C/C++ on Linux / Unix
• Familiarity with high performance design practices
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study

• Experience in developing high-performance, database-driven websites or web applications
• 3-5 years of development experience
• 2 years of solid PHP development experience with medium to large scale successfully deployed projects
• Working knowledge of database design and SQL standards
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL databases
• Ability to write high quality code and develop innovative solutions in complex technical areas while working in a fast-paced, dynamic product environment
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study

• 2+ years of team-based software quality assurance and software testing experience on Linux
• Experience with Perl, PHP, and a working understanding of basic SQL
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
• Stellar organization, detail orientation, written and verbal communication skills, and problem solving and diagnostic abilities
• Superior project management and analytical skills

Seeking an individual to manage the Sales and Operations for Mixed Signals' APAC business. This individual would begin the company's direct APAC presence and grow the customer base for Mixed Signals.

Qualifications

• 15 years in technical sales experience to the cable, satellite and telecommunications sectors (service providers) in APAC. Experience in sales to broadcasters is a plus.
• 5+ years of management responsibility
• A record of building significant revenue growth. Proven sales closing skills
• Extensive network of high level customer contacts in APAC
• Must speak English and one other language
• Master Degree or EE or equivalent are a plus

Responsibilities & Objectives

• Reports to Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing
• Oversees all Sales Activity in APAC:
  • Customer identification and qualifying
  • Direct sales
  • Resellers
  • Strategic alliance
• In the short term, generate new prospects ad substantially increase Mixed Signals' APAC sales pipeline;
• Longer term, build a steadily growing, predictable revenue stream at or above plan;
• Build an APAC-based team as revenues grow;
• Closing business; winning strategic deals;
• Manage APAC operations:
  • P&L for APAC
  • Manage customer trials
  • Forecast unit shipments
  • Coordinate APAC trade shows
  • Interface with the company's marketing for appropriate PR issues
